Completing Your Degree At Alvernia
Whether you are transferring from RACC, CCP, MONTCO, HACC, or any other two or four year institution, Alvernia University welcomes students wishing to continue their education. We are committed to providing personal attention and flexible class schedules to enable you to reach your goals. We also understand that you've already taken classes, experienced university life and started on your educational journey, so we want to make your transfer process as smooth as possible. To that end, our specialized transfer counselors are ready to help you navigate the process.
Students seeking to transfer to the Reading campus for Traditional Day courses and complete an Undergraduate (Bachelor's) degree, should connect with Assistant Director for Transfer Students Arielle Phillips-Law and apply for admission to the daytime undergraduate program of choice.
Those wishing to transfer credits to complete a degree in the evenings at an accelerated pace, earn a graduate (Master's or Ph.D.) degree, or want online classes should contact Graduate and Adult Education at 610-796-5178 or gradandadult@alvernia.edu to participate in three distinct Alvernia programs: Adult Education, Graduate or online coursework.
For all students, the first step is to apply, which can be done easily online via our Alvernia University Application Portal or The Common Application. Once we have received your application for enrollment, we will guide you along the transfer path, from submitting transcripts to registering for classes.
Alvernia University has other transfer opportunities as well, such as transfer partnerships with other regional schools and undergraduate transfer scholarships, so please inquire about these - and ask about any other helpful initiatives. We are here to help you every step of the way!
