Meet Your Major Open House

A day designed for you to take a deep dive into Alvernia's academic experience. You and your family can engage with faculty members, department chairs, and Deans of your respective college via a flexible academic fair. Our four college panels feature students and deans sharing the unique opportunities available in each of the colleges. You can also enjoy tours of campus, including the residence halls and brand-new John R. Post Center at Reading CollegeTowne, 15-minute one-on-one faculty meetings, custom Alvernia pennants and a variety of food trucks for you and your family!


Faculty Focus Days

This unique visit experience provides private, personal opportunities for you to meet with faculty members from your program of interest to discuss course sequencing, research and experiential learning opportunities and program and career outcomes. You also start the day with a brief admissions presentation, an entire campus tour, FREE lunch for you and your guests. Get your academic questions answered by attending one of these personalized events!
 

Individual Visits

We invite you to visit us to experience the Alvernia Advantage. From the time you step on campus, you'll learn about our unique blend of liberal arts and technical training, experiential learning, expansive student life opportunities and deep commitment to community engagement. Getting to know each student is what sets Alvernia apart from others. When attending an individual visit, you are provided a one-on-one tour with a Golden Guide Ambassador, as well as a personalized meeting with an admissions counselor from your geographic region. Additional accommodations include meetings with faculty, Student Financial Services counselors, Accessibility Services, Academic Success. We hope to see you soon!
 

Information Sessions

Information Sessions are offered Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting at 10 a.m. This visit opportunity will include an admissions presentation, a campus tour and a FREE lunch provided in the Student Center Dining Hall.
 

Packapalooza 2024

Packapalooza is a day designed for you to explore and learn about all the resources and support available to you at Alvernia University. With over 20 sessions to inform the undergraduate, adult and graduate students, all will find the day fun and informative! Start the day with one-on-one appointments with faculty members in your interest area then pick and choose the seminar blocks that are most appealing to you and your interest to see what your potential future looks like at Alvernia!
