The undergraduate admissions office invites you and your family to an open house which offers unique experiences depending on where you are in the college search process. Every open house is strategically different to offer more detailed information as the year progresses. Summer 2026 Events

Summer Open House

Summer Open House introduces rising juniors and seniors to the Alvernia Advantage. The day consists of a general admissions presentation, tours of a campus, and a FREE catered lunch in the Student Center Dining Hall. With the support from our dedicated faculty members and the undergraduate admissions team, we are available to talk more about your program's curriculum, internships, research opportunities, career pathways and application process. Whether you’re just beginning your college search or narrowing down your options, our Summer Open Houses provides a welcoming and informative introduction to the Alvernia experience from guided campus tours to engaging with our admissions staff. You’ll leave feeling confident and excited about your next steps.

Fall 2026 Events

Fall Open House I

Whether you're just beginning your college search or getting ready to submit your application, our first Fall Open House is the perfect opportunity to experience the Alvernia community.

During this open house, you'll learn more about our academic programs, the application process, connect with faculty and staff, hear firsthand from current students, and explore the many resources available to support your success. Our campus resource fair will showcase academic programs, student services, campus involvement opportunities, and more!

The day will conclude with a major-specific campus tour, giving you a closer look at the spaces where you'll learn and grow, followed by lunch in the Student Center Dining Hall.

No matter where you are in your college search journey, we invite you to take your first step into the Pack and discover what it means to be part of the Alvernia community!

Fall Open House II

Our final Fall Open House combines everything you need to learn about Alvernia with the excitement of a game-day celebration. Enjoy tailgate-inspired food trucks, connect with faculty and staff at our campus resource fair, and attend a brief presentation to learn more about the admissions process, academics, financial aid, and student life.

You'll also have the opportunity to explore campus on a guided tour and discover what it means to be part of the Golden Wolf community.

As an added bonus, all student attendees will be entered for a chance to win exciting raffle prizes, including themed gift baskets and an NFL sweatshirt with your favorite team!
