Campus activities and organizations are among the many ways in which Alvernia students gain real-world experience, contribute to more than 60,000 hours of community service each year, and help the university remain deeply anchored within its communities.
"Welcoming our students and families to our campus is one of my favorite things to do as president," John R. Loyack writes. "There’s nothing quite like that fall move-in experience."
A combination of creativity and tenacity on the part of university leaders and its students ultimately led to many rich, even eye-opening opportunities.
