Transcript Information

Students and alumni must submit a signed request form to have their transcripts released. The transcript request form can be submitted by mail, fax or email. Phone requests cannot be accepted due to the signature requirement. We will send your transcript within five business days of receiving your request, and transcript requests are not expedited. 
Please note: if you have any financial holds on your account, your transcript will not be sent.

Unofficial Transcript Requests

Current students, former students and alumni who attended after 2003 and do not have a billing hold may view and print their unofficial transcripts on their Self-Service account by clicking "Unofficial Transcript" under the "Grades" tab. Call IT at 610-927-2008 for assistance. Contact the Office of the Registrar to get an unofficial transcript by fax or mail.

Official Transcript Requests

Looking for official transcripts? Call the Registrar's Office for the form or request it through your Self-Service account.

Include the following information in your request:

• Your name (include previous or maiden names if applicable)
• Your social security number
• Your address and telephone number
• The dates you were enrolled and whether you graduated
• How many copies you would like
• The complete address of where the transcript(s) should be sent
• Whether the transcript should be official or unofficial (for your own use)
• Your signature

Self-Service

If you have a Self-Service account and are paying by credit card, you can order a transcript online. Log on to Self-Service, click the "Grades" tab and click “Alvernia Transcript Request.” Call IT at 610-927-2008 for assistance.

Fax and Email

You can fax (610-796-8295) or email (Sharon.Helms@alvernia.edu) your request if you are paying by credit card. Include your credit card number, expiration date and the three-digit security code for the $5.00 fee. Please add a 2.75% convenience fee to all credit card payments.

We cannot fax official transcripts.
