Choose the presentation type that best matches your work.


All presentation formats have a 10 minute maximum presentation time.


There is no separate Creative Writing category in 2026. Readings and spoken word pieces should be submitted as Performances.
 

  • Paper Presentation (oral talk): a 10 minute maximum talk with slides, followed by questions if time allows.
  • Poster Presentation: a poster displayed during a poster session. Posters must be no larger than 32 inches by 36 inches.
  • Visual Art Display: artwork displayed during the conference. A photo of the artwork is required for abstract submission.
  • Performance: music and theatre performances are welcome. Readings and spoken word pieces should be submitted as Performances.
  • Project Presentation: a 10 minute maximum presentation of a project, demonstration, or applied work.
  • Team Capstone Presentation: a 10 minute maximum presentation by a capstone team. Capstone teams may bring items to show, such as prototypes or components.
