HECBC 2026 is the Berks County Undergraduate Research and Creativity Conference for undergraduate students from all disciplines. The theme for 2026 is Minds in Motion: Research, Reflection, and Insight.
The conference provides undergraduate students with the opportunity to showcase research and creative accomplishments while engaging with peers, faculty, and the community.
Submissions are welcome in a variety of formats, including posters, paper presentations, artistic displays of visual art, music and theatre, and project presentations. A new feature in 2026 is a team capstone presentation category. The event will also feature a keynote speaker.
Abstract submission is required for all presenters. Use the Submit Abstract page to access the official abstract submission form.
Registration is required for everyone attending, including submitting authors, co-authors, research advisors, and guests. Registration is required in advance. Abstract submission does not count as registration. The registration link will be released in February 2026 and posted on the Student, Faculty, and Guest Registration page.
