Service Leadership Award
The Service Leadership award recognizes an Alvernia student who embodies the spirit of service at the heart of the Franciscan mission. This individual has demonstrated exceptional dedication to serving beyond themselves and dedicating their time and talents. Through their service, this student has shown not only a devotion to others but also a transformative impact on our internal or external community.
Qualities of Award Recipient:
- Leadership Through Service: The ability to lead by example, inspiring and motivating others to engage in service and contribute to the community.
- Dedication and Perseverance: Consistency in their commitment to service, often going above and beyond in their efforts, whether through long-term volunteer work or responding to urgent internal or external community needs.
- Impactful Contribution: The student’s service results in a meaningful difference within the university or broader community.
- Reflection and Growth: The student demonstrates a thoughtful reflection on their experiences, using these insights to grow personally, professionally, or spiritually.
Collegiality Leadership Award
The Collegiality Leadership Award honors a student who exemplifies Alvernia’s core value of collegiality. This award recognizes an individual who fosters a community of shared vision and purpose, demonstrates leadership that serves others, and emphasizes teamwork and collaboration. This student fosters a joyful environment that uplifts the relationships among their peers, acknowledges their talents and participation, and involves them in decision-making.

Humility Leadership Award

Golden Wolf Student Leader of the Year

The recipient has also shown a commitment to developing their leadership identity, a community spirit of inclusive leadership, and contributing significantly to the overall well-being of the student body.

This student is an active member of the Alvernia community and holds multiple leadership roles on campus.
