We offer an intellectually challenging environment in an intimate college setting. With more than 50 majors and degree programs, including liberal arts, professional, and graduate programs, students gain critical knowledge and skills. Outside the classroom, students participate in a range of clubs, including D-III athletics.
Experience
We put our values into action through real-world learning experiences. As a result, 100% of Alvernia graduates gain real world experience through: internships, service projects, study abroad and alternative break trips, fieldwork, research projects, clinical assignments, student leadership opportunities, and work-study positions.
Community
We believe direct engagement with underserved communities is a vital part of learning. Students are required to complete service hours with many completing hundreds of service hours, contributing to more than 40,000 hours of student-driven community service every year. Through service-learning experiences, 100% of students prepare for successful careers.
