Research and Interest
Dr. Dougherty has many years of experience diagnosing, treating, and managing a variety of his patients' acute and chronic physical injuries by utilizing patient history, orthopedic/neurological examination, imaging/testing, and formulation of a treatment program. Additionally, Dr. Dougherty has worked side by side with various medical professionals. An area of interest includes research in, and the education of the public at large, in managing chronic pain utilizing a multi-disciplinary approach as an alternative to opiates. This interest is inspired by the epidemic overuse of opiates which often result in a reliance on and addiction to these drugs.
