The Educational Technology Department is a resource center that provides support and guidance to faculty, staff, and students. We support Canvas, improving classroom teaching practices for students and faculty, technology support, instructional design support, as well as creating inclusive learning environments.

How to Get Help
Canvas Support
For Canvas Support, the best first step is using the Help and/or Support buttons on the Canvas navigation menu. The Help menu includes links to live chat support and the phone number for the support hotline. We highly recommend utilizing the chat support for immediate assistance. The Support button also provides access to Canvas’s immense library of resources to help you troubleshoot your problem.

If Canvas is unable to solve your issue, or you have Alvernia specific Canvas needs, such as Blackboard course imports or need someone added to a course, reach out to us by submitting a service request through the TOPdesk Self-Service portal.
