Bernardine Legacy Award invite


Each year, the Alvernia University Women’s Council presents the Bernardine Legacy Award to an outstanding Alvernia alumnae or friend of the university who has distinguished themselves in their professional careers while also serving as a leader and role model to women.


Each candidate is carefully assessed to determine the degree to which she fulfills each requirement according to the established criteria. Announcements will be made by April 30.
 


This award recognizes and demonstrates the valuable contributions that Alvernia women make to their professions and their community. The criteria for the Bernardine Legacy Award are:

  • Recipients must have a history of actively assisting women in attaining professional excellence and leadership skills.
  • Recipients must contribute time and energy to improve the quality of life for others, specifically women, in the community.
  • Recipients must demonstrate a strong passion and outspoken advocacy for the advancement of women.
