Faculty and staff can actively participate in sustainability at Alvernia in many ways. There are opportunities to integrate sustainability content into teaching, offer an experiential learning opportunity with a class visit to the EcoHouse to learn more about sustainability and the regenerative farm project, organize and participate in sustainability-focused service events on campus and in our community, participate in our April Earth Week and October Global Climate Change Week, and collaborate with colleagues and students on sustainability-related research.
