Lambda Sigma Society

Lambda Sigma Society is a national honor society for sophomore students in any major dedicated to the purpose of fostering leadership, scholarship, fellowship, and the spirit of service among college students. Only those first year students who have placed in at least the top 35 percent of the class academically and who have shown evidence of leadership during their first year are selected to participate. Lambda Sigma then challenges and offers the opportunities for personal growth, leadership experience, a sense of involvement on your campus, and the friendship of other student leaders/scholars while serving and promoting the interests of the college or university in every possible way.

Membership in Lambda Sigma is not only recognition for accomplishment, but also a challenge to serve throughout your college career and as an alumnus. So, if you want to grow as a leader, serve your campus and community, develop friendships with other academic-minded second-year students, and be eligible for one of our $500 scholarships, then Lambda Sigma is for you!

Meetings:

Meetings are held every other week as a club, and weekly as a committee. Times are arranged based on everyone’s schedule!
