Alvernia is excited to give incoming first-year students the opportunity to take free virtual summer courses designed specifically with them in mind. These courses will give new students the opportunity to get to know other students and faculty in brief, three-week courses. These classes will be capped at 15-20 students to promote engagement and build relationships. Registration is limited.
Our Free Summer Courses are more than just a head start—they work. Students who participate in these courses retain at 8% higher than those who don’t. By getting a feel for the college course environment, building relationships with faculty, and meeting fellow Golden Wolves before the semester begins, students ease into college life with confidence. It’s one of the many ways we help make Alvernia feel like home from the very start.
