Alvernia University is celebrating 2024 Annual International Education Week from November 18-22, featuring opportunities for students, faculty and staff to connect with students that embody the different cultures that curate the Alvernia community through food, sports, dance, meaningful dialogue and more. All students, faculty and staff are welcome to join for all events.

Monday, Nov. 18
Monday's offerings include a photo contest, a Mariachi band, Mofongo, and Latin (Cuban Mojo Chicken and Dominican Desserts) dishes spotlighted at the Dining Hall.

Tuesday, Nov. 19
Tuesday's offerings include lawn games with International students, a sushi making class, and Asian (Thai drunken noodles) dishes spotlighted at the Dining Hall.

Wednesday, Nov. 20
Wednesday features home country displays by international students, a class highlighting the Chinese game of Mahjong, Brazilian jiujitsu class, and Indian (curry and tandoori chicken) dishes spotlighted in the Dining Hall.

Thursday, Nov. 21
Thursday's offerings include a Peace Corps information table, caricature drawings, a Polynesian dance class, a language exchange, and Canadian (Poutine) dishes spotlighted at the Dining Hall.

Friday, Nov. 22
On the final day of the week's celebration, the winners of the photo contest will be announced, a Saudi cultural display will be featured, and Middle Eastern (shawarma with chickpeas and spinach) dishes will be spotlighted at the Dining Hall.
