Biography

• 1995 Graduate of Schuylkill Valley High School where she participated in Golf, Track & Field, Swimming and Cheerleading.  Was a member of the Marching Band and Concert Band as well as being involved with PA Youth Education Association, Future Business Leaders of America, and SODDA

• Earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Temple University in Occupational Therapy/Therapist graduating Magna Cum Laude.  Member of Pi Theta Epsilon honor society.  Temple University Golden Key International Honor Society.

• Received a Master of Science degree from Temple University in Occupational Therapy/Therapist graduating Summa Cum Laude

• Attained her Doctorate from Temple University in Occupational Therapy/Therapist graduating Summa Cum Laude

• Earned the Dr. Helen Hopkins Endowed Scholarship in 2015

• Has certifications in Biomedical Research, Teaching in Higher Education, Positive Discipline Parenting and Educator trainer/teacher, Handwriting without Tears/Learning without Tears, Therapeutic Listening, Early Intervention, Sensory Integration & Praxis, International Sensory Processing birth through adult

• Has been published in the American Journal of Occupational Therapy and has professional memberships in the American Occupational Therapy Association and the Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy Association

• Tenure Track Professor at Alvernia University

• Volunteer Coach with the East Penn Youth Cheerleading Association, Girls Scout Parent Assistant, Lifetime Girl Scout Membership, and the Boy Scout Explorers
