Miller Gallery
Located within Alvernia's historic Francis Hall, the Miller Gallery is a beautiful setting for hosting artwork by local and nationally exhibited artists, in addition to current Alvernia Art and Design students. The Miller Gallery is named after local arts supporters, Marlin and Regina (Ginger) Miller. Marlin is co-founder of Norwich Ventures and has decades of experience as an entrepreneur and leader in the medical device industry. Ginger is a nationally recognized water colorist and needlecraft artist. As collectors, philanthropists and artists, Marlin and Ginger have a keen sense of the transformational power of art. The Millers’ extensive community involvement is informed by their shared passion for arts and education.
Berks in Focus: "Symphony of a Thousand Images" Student Photography Exhibit
Dates: Aug. 7-Sept. 7 at Miller Gallery
This traveling exhibition invites you to experience Berks County through a curated collection of student photographs displayed at public locations throughout the county from August through October. Celebrating the people, places, and moments that make our region unique, the exhibition leads up to the Berks in Focus: Symphony of a Thousand Images performance with the Reading Symphony Orchestra on Saturday, October 10, 2026, where these inspiring images will come to life in a one of-a-kind multimedia concert.
Presented in collaboration by the Yocum Institute for Arts Education and the Reading Symphony Orchestra, with generous support from the Berks County Community Foundation.
Miller Gallery Hours
Monday through Saturday, 10:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
- Open for special arts events one hour prior to performance.
- Gallery closed when Alvernia is closed for holidays & breaks.
