Monday, Nov. 17

  • Photo contest begins (Student Center and the John R. Post Center at Reading CollegeTowne): Come see the stunning photos taken by our students who have traveled abroad through Alvernia and vote for your favorite.
  • Mariachi Band (Student Center, 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.) – Come enjoy live music!
  • International Ornament Making: (Student Center & Post Center, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.)
  • Ddakji, traditional Korean paper flip game: (Student Center & Post Center 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.)
  • Cultural food sampling: (Post Center, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.)
  • Dining Hall Special: (lunch hour) - Two student recipes will be served
  • World Cup Soccer (PLEX, 6-8 p.m.): Get ready for a fun game of soccer where cultural exchange happens one goal at a time.
  • Bake Madeleines in FRENCH (Holleran Hall, 5:30-7 p.m.)

 

 

Tuesday, Nov. 18

  • Dining Hall Special: Canadian – poutine, beaver tails, butter tarts
  • Sushi making class: (Campus Commons Living Room, 1:25 and 3:15 p.m.)
  • Widoktadwen Center for Native Knowledge: (Student Center, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.)
  • Cash Cab: Catch the cab around campus and test your global knowledge and win cash prizes along the way.
  • War in Ukraine Panel: (Student Center Seminar Rooms) – 3:30-4:30 p.m.

 

 


Wednesday, November 19

  • International Expo: (Campus Commons Living Room, 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.)
    • International Students Home Country Displays: Come check out where our international students are from and learn more about their countries.

  • Dining Hall Special: Ecuadorian – Seco de Pollo with rice, plantains, Ecuadorian corn cake
  • Friendsgiving, in collaboration with Pura Vida, Black Student Union, International Student Organization and Saudi Student Association: (Francis Hall, 6:30-8:30 p.m.)

 


Thursday, November 20

  • Winners of Photo Contest announced.
  • U.S. Peace Corps Info Table: (Bernardine Hall Lobby, 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.) - Inspiring stories from Peace Corps Volunteers and Indian food.
  • Dining Hall Special: Asian – Pad Thai, Indian Curry, Tanghulu
  • Polynesian Dance Class: (Dance Studio, 6:30-7:30 p.m.)
