The Office of Mission & Ministry at Alvernia University provides opportunities for students, faculty, and staff to respond to God's call by engaging in a community of faith, pursuing a life of service, and advancing peace and social justice initiatives in our community and in the world. While rooted in the spirituality of Saint Francis of Assisi and the Roman Catholic Church, the Office of Campus Ministry recognizes the Christian call for inclusiveness and welcomes persons of all faith backgrounds, encouraging a spirit of ecumenism and inter-faith dialogue.


We do this by sponsoring activities in the area of 5 pillars:


Mass Schedule

Sunday Times
Sundays at 7:00 PM and Wednesdays at Noon
For the Spring 2022 Semester, Masses will be held in Sacred Heart Chapel, Bernardine Franciscan Sisters' Motherhouse. The first mass will be held Sunday, Jan. 23, 2022.
Please note all are asked to wear masks, regardless of vaccination status.
