Alvernia University

Alvernia’s range of merit-based scholarships for full-time transfer students pursuing their first bachelor’s degree are based on cumulative GPAs from all previously attended institutions:

  • Reading Collegiate Scholars Program: Full-tuition scholarship for RACC graduates who live in the City of Reading, have earned an associate degree, and hold a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Provost Scholarship: $21,000 annually for students with a GPA of 3.5+ (Phi Theta Kappa members and non-members).
  • Bernardine Scholarship: $19,000 per year for GPAs between 3.25 and 3.49.
  • Dean Scholarship: $17,000 per year for GPAs between 3.0 and 3.24.
  • Transfer Scholarship: $15,000 per year for GPAs between 2.5 and 2.99.
  • Alvernia Connects With Transfers Scholarship: An additional $1,000 for students with a 3.0+ GPA.
  • RaiseMe Micro-Scholarships: Earn up to $22,000 annually by recording academic and extracurricular achievements before applying through Alvernia’s partnership with RaiseMe.
     

Duquesne University

Duquesne provides transfer students with academic scholarships based on credits completed, program of study, and GPA. Notably, Pennsylvania residents eligible for the PA State Grant can receive a matching grant from Duquesne, offering up to $5,000 per year, totaling up to $20,000 through graduation.
 

Penn State University

Penn State’s RaiseMe Transfer Program allows Pennsylvania community college students to earn up to $7,000 in micro-scholarships by achieving academic and extracurricular milestones before transferring. Eligible students must have at least 18 completed credits and a minimum 2.8 GPA and submit the FAFSA. The program supports a smooth transition to one of Penn State’s 19 Commonwealth Campuses.
 

Pennsylvania College of Technology

High-achieving transfer students can benefit from the Penn College Transfer Student Scholarship, which is renewable up to $2,500 per year for the duration of a bachelor's degree. Eligibility requires completing an associate degree with a minimum 3.5 GPA, full-time enrollment, and submitting the Penn College Scholarship Application and FAFSA.
