Applying as a First-Year Student

There are two easy and secure ways to complete your application, our Alvernia University web portal or The Common Application. When using The Common Application, please be sure to list Alvernia University as a chosen school, so your info is sent to us electronically upon submission to that website.

We have a rolling admission process, which means we constantly accept and review applications contingent on openings in specific academic majors. You can see an admissions checklist here. We recommend submitting your application as early as possible - you may apply any time after your junior year in high school. Once your completed application is received, we make every effort to notify you of our decision within two to four weeks.
