BSN Program

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing program provides a comprehensive education to prepare students for diverse nursing careers. The curriculum combines theoretical knowledge with hands-on clinical experiences, ensuring students are well-prepared for the NCLEX-RN licensure exam and professional practice.

With a commitment to small class sizes and personalized guidance from experienced faculty, BSN students are supported through academic and clinical learning. Courses cover key areas like pharmacology, health assessment, and leadership, and students participate in research and community projects, emphasizing holistic, evidence-based care.

Alvernia offers hands-on training through advanced simulation labs and diverse clinical rotations across hospitals, community clinics, and long-term care facilities. These experiences, made possible by strong clinical partnerships, allow students to apply their knowledge in settings aligned with their career goals.

The online RN to BSN program is designed for registered nurses seeking to advance their skills, expand career opportunities, and meet the evolving demands of the healthcare industry. Alvernia accepts up to 90 transfer credits and allows RNs to complete their BSN in as little as 12 months through an online format that fits their work schedules. With seven-week courses, students can accelerate their learning without sacrificing their professional commitments.

The program develops critical competency in leadership, healthcare informatics, patient safety, and quality improvement. Courses cover evidence-based practices, public health nursing, and cultural competence, equipping graduates to provide high-quality care in diverse healthcare settings.

Alvernia nursing students benefit from personalized academic advising, ensuring they have support throughout their studies.
