Internships & Workshops

Shape Young Minds & Gain Real-World Experience

Interning with Total Experience Learning allows students to develop teaching and interpersonal skills, and make a meaningful and lasting impact on K–12 students. TExpL offers undergraduates immersive internships and one-off workshop experiences to gain hands-on exposure to education settings, industry-standard tools and explore the Total Experience Learning methodology. This opportunity is not just for education majors — all majors may apply.

As an intern you will:

Experience Impact-Driven Learning

Witness your efforts in action as you support student projects and see young learners bring their ideas to life. You’ll be more than just an observer; you’ll be a catalyst in the classroom, guiding students as they dive into hands-on learning experiences.

Master Industry-Standard Equipment

Develop skills that go beyond the academics by training on real-world tools used in cutting-edge industries. Learn alongside educators to apply these tools in ways that inspire students and support their exploration of science, technology, engineering, creative arts and math.

Assist in Our Annual Summer Program for 5th–12th Grade Students

Be part of the excitement and energy of our high-quality summer program, where students attend seminars based on their area of interest or “track.” As an intern, you’ll help with logistics, facilitate student seminar choice, mentor students and support their exploration in a range of subjects. As an intern, you will play a key role in making it unforgettable summer for these students on Alvernia’s campus.

Explore One-Off Workshops for Targeted Skills

Not ready for a full internship? TExpL also offers single-session workshops for undergraduates looking to enhance specific skills or gain exposure to classroom-based research. Each workshop dives into essential techniques, methodologies, and tools that bring impactful learning to life.
