Programs
The Total Experience Learning Institute offers graduate-level courses that provide educators with hands-on experience in essential teaching techniques, classroom innovation and project management strategies:
- COURSE 1 | MED 640: Innovation and Entrepreneurial Concepts in Education
This introductory course allows participants the opportunity to learn the methodology, focus on classroom culture, and establish a baseline for the importance of innovation and invention within an educational ecosystem.
- COURSE 2 | MED 641: Inventive Project Management and Development Techniques in Education
In this course, participants learn advanced project management techniques and develop the skills to create an optimal TExpL learning environment.
- COURSE 3 | MED 642: The Tools of Total Experience Learning® in Education
This course emphasizes the need to engage with stakeholders from business and the community to ensure that educators are designing and implementing opportunities in their classrooms that promote real-world, industry-standard tools and examples.
- COURSE 4 | MED 643: Total Experience Learning® Field Experience
This course is designed to fully immerse participants in an active TExpL setting, allowing educators to create and iterate lessons for their upcoming school year.
Pathway to Advanced Degree
Upon finishing your Graduate Certificate in Educational Innovation and Entrepreneurship with Total Experience Learning, Alvernia has created a seamless pathway to continue towards completion of a Master of Education in Educational Leadership degree.

*Accepting Applications for Fall 2025 Start*Admission Requirement: Candidates seeking admission to the Graduate Certificate in Educational Innovation and Entrepreneurship must already hold a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution or the equivalent of a four-year bachelor’s degree deemed comparable from a foreign institution. Total Experience Learning’s graduate certificate program enrolls new students at the start of the Fall and Spring semesters.

- 2025-26 Rates
The Graduate Certificate in Educational Innovation and Entrepreneurship with Total Experience Learning is a four-course certificate, totaling 12 credits. Each graduate course is three (3) credits.

Additional Fees
- Required Reading Materials — total out-of-pocket cost is approximately $60.
Employer Tuition Deferment Process
- If an employer is assisting with a tuition payment, the student is required to submit this form at the start of each semester.
