Alvernia's ESL Program Specialist Certification Program (Grades K-12) prepares educators to effectively teach culturally and linguistically diverse students in P-12 contexts. To provide flexibility, the program is offered in on-site and online formats. The comprehensive and rigorous coursework is delivered in the innovative ways that create a student-centered learning environment.

Our ESL Program Specialist Certification Program is accredited by the Pennsylvania Department of Education. This post-baccalaureate program is for educators who have an instructional certificate or teaching license and would like to add the ESL Specialist certification.
