O'Pake Lecture: Resiliency Day
Alvernia is excited to welcome Dr. B. Janet Hibbs and Dr. Anthony Rostain, authors of “The Stressed Years of Their Lives: Helping Your Kid Survive and Thrive During Their College Years,” to Alvernia University on Monday, October 28 at 7:00 PM in the Flynn Plex lecture hall #216. Dr. Hibbs and Dr. Rostain will speak to how parents and educators can help students transition to college and be successful in young adulthood.

FYS Lecture: The Road to Character, David Brooks
November 20th, PEC, 5pm. The fourth book written by journalist, First year seminar/Litfest Speaker, David Brooks. Brooks discusses the the balance between the values of our community and those that we hold within ourselves.
