Along with your completed application accompanied by $50 non-refundable application fee, you’ll need to provide a few supporting materials. Below is a list of what you’ll need:

  • Complete online application
  • Order official transcript(s)
  • Provide two letters of recommendations
  • Provide Personal Statement
  • Upload Professional Resume
  • Provide scores from a graduate entrance exam.
  • Interview with the MBA program coordinator (After all the required application materials have been received, an interview may be required)
  • Additional Evidence of potential for success (Academic or professional awards, special certifications, samples of scholarly or creative work, and completion of specialized examinations are encouraged)

Curriculum

The Master in Business Administration (MBA) with Healthcare Emphasis degree curriculum is 30 credits. Students who are not business majors may be required to take additional 9 credits depending on your academic background.

Alvernia business MBA faculty bring strong academic credentials and real world expertise. The MBA programs offers six accelerated seven-week terms a year. Students can work at their own pace with the opportunity to finish in one year.

Experiential Learning Opportunities
  • In the John R. Post Center at Reading CollegeTowne, our business lab and Bloomberg Terminals provide financial real time, historical data, market moving news and analytics.
  • The O'Pake Institute for Economic Development  and Entrepreneurship offers resources to students and businesses to assist with economic development. Students interested in starting a business or securing a patent have access to the O'Pake Institute business incubator. 
  • Customized skills are put into practice with a final project in the capstone course Executive Leadership Seminar.
