A dynamic profession, accounting provides support for management decision-making and offers a variety of important services to clients. Alvernia University’s Adult Education Bachelor of Science in Accounting provides an opportunity for adults to develop professional skills that enable them to enter the field of management accounting or public accounting. Accounting graduates who earn Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designations in addition to their degrees can further improve their job prospects, as the demand for accounting services has grown due to new financial regulations.
