A specialty MBA for all levels of leadership

The multifaceted demands of the U.S. healthcare system require professionals to excel in their chosen specialties while also possessing business skills. Alvernia’s MBA with Healthcare Emphasis Program explores and examines the ever-evolving complexities of the healthcare industry, providing professionals with the tools to address management, analytics, finance, risk management, leadership, information management and business healthcare strategy. The degree offers opportunities for those inside and outside of the industry, from healthcare workers wanting to expand their knowledge base to those seeking to step into a healthcare leadership role.

The MBA with Healthcare Emphasis program was crafted by — and is taught by — veterans of the industry, including Donald Schalk, the program's director. Schalk has over 40 years of management experience, serving as CEO of four organizations, and works with startup firms and those in the early revenue stage at the O'Pake Institute for Economic Development and Entrepreneurship.
