Miller Gallery

Following major renovations to Francis Hall, Alvernia University opened the doors to the Miller Gallery. The gallery is named after local arts supporters, Marlin and Regina (Ginger) Miller. Long time supporters for Alvernia and the community, the Millers are committed to encouraging wide-ranging appreciation for artistic expression.

Marlin is co-founder of Norwich Ventures and has decades of experience as an entrepreneur and leader in the medical device industry. Ginger is a nationally recognized water colorist and needlecraft artist. As collectors, philanthropists and artists, Marlin and Ginger have a keen sense of the transformational power of art. The Millers’ extensive community involvement is informed by their shared passion for arts and education.

The 640 square foot Miller Gallery will house artwork by local artists and works created by current Alvernia students. Alvernia has created a partnership with the Reading Public Museum to provide gallery management and consultative services for the university’s first public art gallery.

Alvernia looks forward to enhancing the creative experience of students and the regional community through art in the Miller Gallery.
