Learning Center
The Learning Center is available to undergraduates requesting assistance. Peer and professional tutors help students build skills in writing, math, science, and foreign languages.
The primary objective of the tutors in the Learning Center is to help students acquire or improve skills that will enable them to succeed with future assignments. We want to give students the tools necessary to do well in their courses and in their future careers.
Service Learning
Service to others is deeply embedded in Alvernia University's Franciscan heritage and remains an important part of our educational mission today. Our goal is to develop not just educated citizens, but engaged citizens actively involved in work to better their communities and the larger world.
