Earning a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) at Alvernia University is as much about the future as it is about the present. We provide a rich and innovative education in business that provides value in a constantly changing economy. We pride ourselves on providing one of the most cutting edge MBA programs in Eastern Pennsylvania.
Our flexible, pragmatic and ethics-driven program gives you a comprehensive approach in the advancement of business administration and the new developments every business professional needs to thrive.
Our evening MBA program lets you earn your degree at a faster pace than traditional programs. Most students take two classes in an 8-week term that allows students to complete their degree in as little as one year. There are several class formats and time slots in the evening that you can choose from to help fit your busy lifestyle. The MBA classes are offered on multiple campuses in Reading and Pottsville, which are both accessible to many communities in the area including Harrisburg, Allentown, Lancaster, Kutztown and Philadelphia. This means you can take classes at the campus which is most convenient for you.
The Main Campus located in Reading, PA offers an enriching educational experience and a vibrant campus life. However, if you live close to Schuylkill County, then our Alvernia University Schuylkill Center in Pottsville might be a better option. This area is convenient for students who work or live in northeast Pennsylvania.
In addition, students can elect to take several of their courses online in the Online MBA program since the curriculum is identical. This option provides greater flexibility for the working professional.
You will develop a course of study that fits into your individual needs and interests based on our flexible course formats - online, blended, and classroom. Our small class sizes help ensure personalized learning and attention. And our cooperative culture emphasizes working with other students to achieve objectives — a powerful and necessary skill in today’s complex, fast-paced business environment. You will also put your business skills into practice during your last semester with a personalized final project in a capstone course we call Executive Leadership Seminar.
Our faculty members and instructors have real-world expertise as impressive as their academic backgrounds. Their committed to furthering your education and they continually refine what they teach to reflect what’s really happening in the business world.
