Earning a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) at Alvernia University is as much about the future as it is about the present. We provide a rich and innovative education in business that provides value in a constantly changing economy. We pride ourselves on providing one of the most cutting edge MBA programs in Eastern Pennsylvania.
Our flexible, pragmatic and ethics-driven program gives you a comprehensive approach to the fundamentals of business administration and the new developments every business professional needs to thrive.
Get your degree on time and on target.
With three semesters a year, our MBA program lets you earn your degree at a faster pace than traditional programs. Most students take two classes per semester, and you can finish your MBA within two to three years. There are several class formats and time slots that you can choose from to help fit your busy lifestyle. The MBA classes are offered on multiple campuses in Reading and Pottsville, which are both accessible to many communities in the area including Harrisburg, Allentown, Lancaster, Kutztown and Philadelphia. This means you can take classes at the campus which is most convenient for you.
The Main Campus located in Reading, PA offers an enriching educational experience and a vibrant campus life. However, if you live close to Schuylkill County, then our Alvernia University Schuylkill Center in Pottsville might be a better option. This area is convenient for students who work or live in northeast Pennsylvania. Classes at both campuses are offered in the evenings after the traditional workday is complete and follow the fall, spring, and summer semesters.
If coming to a campus doesn’t fit into your schedule, we now offer our Master in Business Administration degree online. The online delivery of our MBA program gives you the same comprehensive approach to the fundamentals of business administration and the new developments every business professional needs to thrive.
Personalized learning and attention.
You will develop a course of study that fits into your individual needs and interests based on our flexible course formats - online, blended, and classroom. Our small class sizes help ensure personalized learning and attention. And our cooperative culture emphasizes working with other students to achieve objectives — a powerful and necessary skill in today’s complex, fast-paced business environment. You will also put your business skills into practice during your last semester with a personalized final project in a capstone course we call Executive Leadership Seminar.
Learn from business-savvy faculty and instructors.
Our faculty members and instructors have real-world expertise as impressive as their academic backgrounds. Trained in adult learning and committed to furthering your education, they continually refine what they teach to reflect what’s really happening in the world.
