Alumnus uses creative interventions for troubled teens


Brandon Ballantyne '07, M’11 earned both a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and a Master of Arts in Community Counseling (MACC) from Alvernia. Today, he works with troubled teenagers in the Reading Hospital’s inpatient psychiatric unit. 

“I believe that at the very root of all adolescents, there is a sense of resiliency that patients can access with the help of creative outlets.”
