As a registered nurse for more than 30 years, Robyne has spent the last 15 years of her nursing career in education, teaching at the bachelor’s level since 2008. Her clinical background is in the medical/surgical and perioperative nursing areas. Robyne first earned an Associate Degree in Nursing in 1988 from then, Alvernia College. Her Bachelor of Science in Nursing was completed at Immaculata College in 2002 and in 2010 she earned an MSN with a focus on education from Millersville University. As a recent graduate of the DNP in Healthcare Systems Leadership program at Duquesne University, Robyne was awarded the Jonas Veteran Healthcare Program Scholar designation, which supports DNP and PhD nursing students as they work to advance the quality of care of the Veteran population. Dr. Eisenhauer has been involved in simulation education for over a decade at Alvernia University, where she has worked with nursing and other health care science faculty to integrate high fidelity simulation across the curriculum. She has been certified as a simulation expert by Drexel University and received the Certified Simulation Healthcare Educator designation from the Society of Simulation in Healthcare.
