Alvernia University’s College of Professional Programs invites applicants for a full-time tenure-track Social Work Faculty and MSW Program Director appointment beginning August 2021.
Candidates must hold MSW from an accredited program and a doctorate in social work or related field.
Required Qualifications: Candidates will demonstrate the ability to teach using multiple pedagogical approaches, have a defined area of scholarly interest, and two years post MSW clinical experience. The Program Director role includes oversight of accreditation with the Council of Social Work Education (CSWE). Evidence of excellence in student-centered teaching; Commitment to engaging in high-impact practices such as service-learning and experiential learning, and use of innovative pedagogy.
