Flu Shot Clinic: November 4 - November 15, 2013
Flu shots will be available to all students, faculty and staff beginning on Monday, November 4th. Please call to schedule an appointment, 610-568-1467. The cost of the vaccine this year is $18.00 payable with cash/check, or if you are a student, you may choose to bill your student account.
Stress Busters Week: November 11 - November 15, 2013
College life can be very stressful, join us for a week of stress relievers as well as some additional programs throughout the month! Student organizations and the Health & Wellness Center have teamed up to bring you a bunch of great ideas to help reduce your stress level as we head into the end of the semester and the holidays.
November 4: Native American Storyteller, Dovie Thomason will be in the Crusader Cafe at 7:30pm. Relax and listen to a few stories!
November 11: Join the Adventure Club for a nature walk through Angelica Park. We are surrounded by a beautiful park, take some time for yourself to clear your head and you will be much more effective in your daily life.
November 12: Enjoy a free chair massage from our friends at East/West Massage from 12:00-2:00pm in the Cafeteria!
Join PsiChi in the cafeteria over lunch for a chance to share inspirational messages that get you through stressful times.
November 13: Stress Relief Party with Health & Wellness Center! Time and place TBD
November 14: Make a stress ball with the Psychology Club at lunch in the cafeteria from 11:30-1:00pm!
November 15: Lip Sync contest hosted by RHA will be in the Campus Commons Living Room at 8:00pm. Share your musical talent, sing a little, laugh a little, a break from the norm is just what you need for stress relief!
November 18: Build a Dream Catcher in the Student Center from 5:00-6:30pm. One of the best stress reducers is a good night's sleep, build a dreamcatcher so that the bad dreams are caught and destroyed, while the good dreams pass safely through.
Great American Smoke Out: November 21, 2013
Smokers, consider making this day a quit day, a cut back day, or a cigarette-free day! We will have information and supplies to help you in the Bernardine Hall Lounge from 11:30-1:00pm.
Every week we will host an interactive healthy living program. Topics will vary throughout the semester. Watch for signs and emails regarding where, when and what topic we will be covering!
