When you do not feel well, simply call or stop by the Health & Wellness Center to set up an appointment. It is important to your college career that you take good care of your health.
All visits to our nurses and physicians are free of charge to registered students. Please visit us for:
Allergy injections can be administered only when a physician is present in the office. Students receiving allergy injections at the Health & Wellness Center are asked to provide their serum and syringes and are required to remain in the office for 20 minutes following their injection.
Flu vaccinations will be administered each fall for a small fee.
PPD/Mantoux testing is available at the Health & Wellness Center on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. Please remember, that you must be able to return to the Health & Wellness Center to have the test read within 48-72 hours.
Travel immunization clinics will be available for our students travelling abroad with the alternative break programs. The student will be responsible for paying for these immunizations.
The Center offers both prescription and non-prescription medication. These medications are available at a discounted price; many times the price is equivalent or less than a co-pay at the pharmacy.
Remember your visit to the Health & Wellness Center is free, but there may be a fee for testing, immunizations, and medications. The Health & Wellness Center will provide the student with a bill for services rendered at our facility. The student is responsible for payment at the time of service and may pay with cash or check, or the student may opt to bill their student account. If the student bills their student account, the Health & Wellness Center will provide the Student Billing Office with the students name and student ID number, the date of service, and the amount of the bill. No medical information will be shared with the billing office.
Also, the student is financially responsible for any services provided outside of our office and/or any lab work that we have to send to an outside laboratory.
