Educational Planning Center

Classes begin on Tuesday, January 19th. Changes to schedules can easily be made up until the close of the add/drop period, which ends on January  26th.

Students who are not yet registered and need assistance may contact the Educational Planning Center at 610.796.8266

If your student had a less than successful fall semester and has been placed on academic probation, he or she should have received two letters over the break: one from the Provost outlining what needs to be done to get back on track and one from the EPC indicating the name and contact information of a Planning Advisor who has been assigned  to help navigate through the specific challenges facing students in this situation.  The Planning Advisor is in addition to the Academic Advisor and is meant to provide added support and guidance while students rebuild their GPAs and connect appropriately to resources on campus.

Justice Everywhere

As our world faces increasingly divisive issues and messages, it’s important for us to come together as a community to reaffirm our core values and principles, especially in support of those who may be marginalized.  Click on the icon below and encourage your student to join in for as many of these activities as possible.  (If you’re in the area and would like to join in, as well, please contact University Life at 610.796.8211 for more information.)

M.E.N. and W.O.M.E.N.

The second semester of activities for Men Evolving Now (MEN) and Women Evolving Now (WOMEN) are about to begin.  Encourage your student to connect with fellow students and mentors, to travel together on the road to a positive and healthy life.  Just click on one of these icons for the spring schedule.  If you or your student have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact University Life at 610.796.8211.

Important Student Handbook Revisions

A revised edition of the Student Handbook is now available on our web site; click on Student Life, then on Community Standards, then on the link to the pdf of the Handbook. Important additions are new policies for Recreational Vehicles (page 55) and Unmanned Aircraft Systems (page 57). These policies prohibit hoverboards and drones on University property.
