Mission Statement

The Alvernia University Office of Community Standards strives to create and support an environment where rigorous, caring and inclusive learning communities thrive, while promoting good citizenship at Alvernia University with a guide principal of education student to be in right relationships with other and themselves.  The office’s primary function is to address all violation of the Code of Citizenship and/or University Policy in a fair and reasonable manner, while balancing both the student’s and institution’s rights and responsibilities.

Student Handbook

The Student Handbook (PDF) provides the following information: Alvernia policies and procedures, residence issues, practical information about student services on campus, and a listing of clubs and activities. Please refer to the handbook often. Chances are, when you want to know something about Alvernia, you'll find it in the handbook.
