Campus Security Authority (CSA) Training

Who is a Campus Security Authority (CSA)?

As defined by the Clery Act CSAs are:

•Members of campus police/public safety
•Individuals responsible for campus security
•Individuals who have significant responsibility for campus activities
•Individuals/departments specified by the institution to which students and employees should report criminal offenses

Who are Campus Security Authorities (CSAs) at Alvernia?

•All Public Safety personnel
•All members of the University Life staff except ordained religious and licensed medical or counseling personnel
•All professional staff and coaches in Athletics (including fitness center workers)
•All staff and faculty who serve as advisors to student organizations
