The career services office is staffed by career development professionals, here to assist students and alumni in all phases of occupational exploration, career planning, and job seeking.

Appointments are encouraged to assure individual assistance or support for career planning issues, but drop-in visits are also welcome.

Our in-office Career Resource Library is open for use during posted hours regardless of the availability of professional staff. A wealth of online resources is available on the Alvernia website.

Assessment Testing

Assessment tools are often sought by students and alumni who are in search of "a assessment that will tell me what I should be." While there are many resources to assist in career decision-making, there is no one assessment that will answer that important, complex question. Career Services offers state-of-the-art assessments to assist in your career direction. Some assessments include the Strong Interest Inventory, and the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator Test. Please contact career services for assessment information.
