Campus Ministry

St. Francis Month

Throughout the month of October, Campus Ministry, along with the entire Alvernia community, celebrates our Franciscan heritage by designating it “St. Francis Month.” The tradition started because the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi is Tuesday October 4, and one day is just not enough to celebrate the patron saint of Alvernia!

Campus Ministry offers a wide variety of activities and programs during the month, based around Alvernia’s core values of contemplation, service, humility, peacemaking, and collegiality. Come join Campus Ministry as we celebrate St. Francis throughout October!
