Alvernia Comes to Easton!

SPRING 2010

MED 518-0EAS Quantitative Research Methods
This course is designed to familiarize the student with the use of mathematical and statistical methodology used in educational research. Topics will include descriptive statistics, introduction to inferential statistics, t-tests, one-way analysis of variance, multiple comparison procedures, research design and the use of SPSS software.

Who: The course is available to all educators in Easton Area and other nearby schools. It is a requirement for the master’s degree.

Where: Easton Area Middle School Campus

When: Six Saturdays, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Jan 23 and 30; Feb. 6 and 27; March 6 and 13.

Why: Because it makes sense to spend your time learning, not driving. Learning with people with whom you work makes it more fun, and more relevant. These three graduate credits may be applied to Instructional II certification or Act 48 requirements (90 hours).

Cost: $1320.00 (reflects 20% off-site discount)

Register Online (please choose Schuylkill Center as your location in the online form for this course)

Note: Alvernia offers a tuition deferment plan that allows payment after students have completed the course.
