Offering a greater convenience to adult students.
Alvernia University's 10,400 sq. ft. new facility provides additional classroom space,
supports new programs, and offers greater convenience to our growing
student population.
The new center features eight state of the
art classrooms. Two SMART classrooms incorporate instructor stations
equipped with computer and audiovisual equipment, allowing instructors
to teach using a wide variety of media. A student lounge area offers a
place to relax, study, and discuss class work, and serves as a
multi-purpose space for students. The center has been equipped with two
laptop computer labs and teleconferencing technology to provide
students with cutting-edge technology.
Our new, central location
and easy to find parking will make juggling a job, personal life,
responsibilities, and education even more convenient for adult
learners. Administrative services located at the center include
Student Services, Academic Services, Financial Aid, and Admissions.
Alvernia’s Graduate and Continuing Studies degree programs are
affordable, accelerated, student oriented, and are designed to meet the needs of
working adults. Students will find that the new Schuylkill Center and
its programs are designed with them in mind.
