KAROLINA DREHER, Director of Residence Life

As the Director of Residence Life, Karolina oversees the entire Office of Residence Life and supervises all the professional and the students staff in the office.

Karolina joined the office of Residence Life in September of 2005. She came to Alvernia University from Cedar Crest College, where she worked for two years as the Residence Life Coordinator and Coordinator of International Programs and Diversity. Prior to working at Cedar Crest College, Karolina was a Resident Director at The College of New Jersey. Karolina has a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Masters of Arts in Student Personnel Administration from New York University.


DAVID STUART, Assistant Director of Residence Life

Dave is a professional staff member who joined the Office of Residence Life in June 2007. Before joining the office at Alvernia University, Dave was a Resident Director at Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey. Prior to Rowan University, Dave attended Salisbury University in Maryland. Dave has obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biological Chemistry and a Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration.


SHANNON BARAHONA, Housing Assistant , Office of Residence Life

As Housing Assistant of the Office of Residence Life, Shannon has many responsibilities. These include, but are not limited to: answering questions and addressing concerns of students as well as parents, weekly occupancy reports, and overseeing the daily office operations.
Shannon is currently continuing her education here at Alvernia College.


ANDY BRIGHT
, Graduate Hall Director, Francis and Anthony Halls

Andy joined the Office of Residence Life at Alvernia in June of 2007. As a Graduate Hall Director, Andy oversees approximately 130 students and 5 Resident Assistants. He is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Education as well as a Teaching Certificate in High School Biology.

Andy is a graduate of Towson University with a Bachelor's degree in Biology. He was a three year Resident Assistant and also the Co-Founder of the Dodgeball Club. Andy enjoys playing golf, jogging, and going to baseball games.


STACEY SCHERER, Graduate Hall Director, Judge Hall and Townhouses

Stacey joined Alvernia University Office of Residence Life in July 2007. She oversees eight Resident Assistants and approximately 150 students. She is currently pursuing her Master's degree in Education with an emphasis in Urban Education. She is hoping to work in higher education post-graduation.

Stacey graduated from York College of Pennsylvania in 2006 with a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Criminal Justice. She was actively involved in Phi Sigma Pi and held the position of Vice President. Stacey likes to spend her free time working out, reading, spending time with friends and family, and attending any type of sporting event.
