This November, Alvernia University's Schuylkill Center will be moving into a brand new location. This 10,400 sq. ft. new facility provides additional classroom space, supports new programs, and offers greater convenience to our growing student population.
The new center features eight state of the art classrooms. Two SMART classrooms incorporate instructor stations equipped with computer and audiovisual equipment, allowing instructors to teach using a wide variety of media. A student lounge area offers a place to relax, study, and discuss class work, and serves as a multi-purpose space for students. The center has been equipped with two laptop computer labs and teleconferencing technology to provide students with cutting-edge technology.
A new, central location and easy to find parking will make juggling a job, personal life, responsibilities, and education even more convenient for adult learners. Administrative services located at the center will include Student Services, Academic Services, Financial Aid, and Admissions. Alvernia’s Graduate and Continuing Studies degree programs are affordable, student oriented, and are designed to meet the needs of working adults. Students will find that the new Schuylkill Center and its programs are designed with them in mind.
The new Schuylkill Center will be located at 1544 Route 61 Highway S, Suite 6190, Pottsville, PA 17901. This campus offers the several graduate and undergraduate degree programs to adults in the greater Schuylkill area. 1544 Route 61 Highway S is situated in Cressona Mall in Pottsville, conveniently located both directions off of Route 61.

“We’re really looking forward to the move to our new location. It offers greater visibility, convenient parking, and easy access for our students. It affords us the opportunity to provide better student services since all of our students will be attending classes at the same location. This is a major commitment for Alvernia University—just another expression of how committed we are to the Schuylkill community. ”
