The Alvernia University December Class of 2013 walked the stage on Sunday, December 15.
Sharon Ann Coleman offered an address before crossing the stage to receive her Master in Business Administration degree.
Sam McCullough, chairman, president and CEO of Griffin Holdings Group LLC., offered remarks after receiving an honorary degree of Humane Letters.
"Sam is an iconic figure in the business and civic communities as much for his character as for his expertise," said Alvernia President Thomas F. Flynn. "He is beloved as a mentor to many, someone who by his example has taught countless women and men how to be a servant leader and an exemplary citizen."
The December Class of 2013 consists of 232 total graduates: 4 doctorates, 74 master's, and 154 bachelor's degrees. Students studied on main campus, the Schuylkill Center, Philadelphia Center, and off-site locations.
