Bio Originally from Buffalo, New York, I began my library career there at the State University of New York. I also worked at William Paterson University in New Jersey before coming to Alvernia in 1992. During my free time I am a reader and cruciverbalist. I enjoy watching Britcoms on Public Television ('Allo, 'Allo and My Hero are current favorites. Other good ones are Bless Me, Father, Are You Being Served?, and As Time Goes By.) I also enjoy listening to the great news and cultural programming on National Public Radio (A Prairie Home Companion, of course, and From the Top, a terrific showcase for talented young musicians). Together my wife and I enjoy traveling around eastern Pennsylvania to find "missing" art and foreign movies, as well as exploring the truly wide variety of recreational, cultural and culinary resources of the Commonwealth. In addition to all this, I have been pleased to offer some community service as a board member of the Berks County Public Library System and as a volunteer in the ER at Reading Hospital. Here are some of my favorite Web sites which I hope you will enjoy visiting as well. Cinema The Internet Movie Database - a wealth
