"Peace is not only a distant goal we seek.
It is a means by which we arrive at that goal."
~ Martin Luther King, Jr.
As a Franciscan institution, Alvernia is committed not only to service, but also to peace and social justice initiatives. Campus Ministry challenges Alvernia community members to affect systemic changes toward a more peaceful world. Students are encouraged to make lifestyle choices that advance social justice in our society.
